For the past Week or so now I've been browsing the 'what's hot' section of Deviantart and the more I do it the more it pisses me off. All I see on there are Ponies and digital Paintings of that Girl from The Last of Us ( I don't know what she's called because I haven't played it due to lack of Interest and abundance of good taste, Jokes!) The last of Us I can deal with because, as hipster as the game is, the quality of the Paintings are at a high quality. The same cannot be said for those annoying fucking Ponies! I couldn't give a shit who I offend here but what kind of person actually Favourites the Pony Images?! I can't begin to imagine what their personalities are like, all I know is that I would prefer to keep at least a few Light years between me and them. I wouldn't even begin to call it Art! The Illustrations themselves could be drawn by the most Disabled of Children, do you know why? Because that's the target fucking Audience! Instead we have Retarded Teenagers, flicking from Youtube to YouPorn all day not benefiting Society in the slightest, Posting them up on Deviantart specifically to annoy me. I thought Facebook or Tumblr were the Websites used by Hipsters to Post absolute shit on? Don't get me wrong, I'm no Larry Hitler saying who can post what, but I honestly thought Deviantart was used for posting beautiful pieces of Art on by people who have put their time and talent into. Not some Website where people act like Twats for popularity, Go home to Facebook! Ponies are food, not Deviantart! I'd love to hear if anyone agrees, it will be comforting knowing I'm not the only one trapped in the Ocean of stupidity that is the Modern World. 

The topic of today's little rant is about People and their improper uses of ellipses, which has started to really irritate me! I know it can be used for a slight pause in a piece of writing but the more Journal entries I read, the more I see people using them incorrectly. Do People not realise that commas are also used for small pauses too? I think it irritates me because the narrator in my head (Morgan Freeman) automatically starts reading dramatically when he comes across an ellipsis, bless him. So if anyone is reading this, please use an ellipsis correctly. You have been warned... 

Have you ever had those weeks where you either feel embarrassed all the time by other people or do embarrassing things all the time? Last week was just the worst! It started when I went to book my Tattoo (31st July, 8 hour sitting yay! ). It's in Huddersfield, a Town that I'm not too familiar with yet. Before i went in I noticed a sign on the Door that said buzz for entry. Having noticed this before walking through the Door I pressed the Buzzer. Having no answer I felt really stupid and just hung around the Front Door. Finally an answer, I said that I wanted to book in basically and he responded with something I couldn't make out. I said what? He then said the thing again and I couldn't make it out. He then leaned out of the window and said I didn't need to Buzz and turns out I was just pressing the Buzzer and not actually talking through the Microphone. To me, this was extremely embarrassing considering there were people upstairs being Tattooed who I had to meet. The Next Day I went to the Game Store with my Girlfriend. I had a Bag in my hand that had a big Bottle of Mountain Dew and it along with a load of other things from my healthy Diet. Whilst my Girlfriend was ordering a Zumba game (Don't ask) I decided to look at the Pc section. Looking through the horizontally stacked Games I picked one out to look at the back of the Case. I then put it back where the other games were about to fall over onto the Floor. With my other hand, out of Reflex, I reached out to stop the Games from falling, Only to catch the Lower shelf with my Mountain Dew Bottle. This caused the Shelf to come of its support and to Fall Loudly on the Floor, Landing on my foot and Causing the Games that the shelf was supporting to crash along with it. By this time I had a nicely bruised Foot and Half of the Store, Staff and Customers along with my Girlfriend, staring at me. What a prick I felt! This has not been my Week. Then there was that time at the Weekend when my Dad got Pissed (Drunk to Americans) but I'm not going to talk about that. 

So recently I've finally decided to pursue something i've wanted to do for a while which is to learn a new language. I chose Finnish for many reasons, mostly because i love the country and to talk to Santa Claus (He's real! fuck anyone who says otherwise). After buying the Books that I needed to start learning, my Girlfriend, who has been studying German for around 6 Years, kindly let's me know that it is one of the hardest Languages to learn with a whopping 15 Noun cases opposed to the 3 that English has. So yeah, i was a little scared. On the other hand it has sort of motivated me to learn it more now. This is due to my complete stubbornness and glutton for punishment. So while my linguistic pursuits are looking up, my Artwork is sadly going a little down hill. This is because I have Artist block. I have a rather short attention span when it comes to actually drawing something for a long period of time, this is bad for an aspiring Artist! I can't think of anything to draw which will keep my attention or surprise me and give me that rewarding feeling when i've finished. My recent posts have mostly been experiments with different styles such as brushes, grey scale etc. So yeah, if anyone who reads this is going through/been through this then any advice would be much appreciated

Just recently played the game Dark Souls. For you people that have played it, it's hard! It's that hard that the impatient will just put it down and watch it gather dust among their collection of videogames. I like it though, i find that the difficulty of the game makes the outcome more rewarding when i progress. This has inspired me with my artwork because, i'm sure many other people have experienced this, i find that i have come to a point where i'm just not improving. This is at least what i think but, like the game, you just have to keep trying and trying until you break through the difficulty barrier and hopefully find yourself progressing. At least that's what i hope, just gotta keep practicing my artwork. So there, Dark Souls, like art it's fucking hard!
